Mensans are a diverse group with a wide variety of interests. Local and national Special Interest Groups (SIGs) allow Mensans with common interests to share ideas, experiences, support and fun. Many Mensans say SIGs are their favorite membership benefit.

Mensa has SIGs for professions, hobbies, recreation, sports, games, animals, health, art, music, literature, science, religion, and politics, from the serious to the absurd. Many SIGs have Web pages, email lists, newsletters, and gatherings.
